In Love with Petrarca

I’m preparing an album with love songs by Francesco Petrarca from his terrific Canzoniere. His collection contains 366 poems. Out of it I chose 17 sonnets and set them to music. Petrarca wrote his Canzoniere in the 14th century: 2024 will be his 650th anniversary. And yet Petrarca’s verses are fresh as the morning dew - I’m totally in love with it! Can’t wait to show these great poems to you through my music!
